Project Scope: Soil Survey and ELIM Project for Landfill Cell
Date: From March 2011 – Present
This has been an ongoing project for LLSI since March of 2011. It consists of multiple phases of landfill cells combined to be one of the largest landfills in South America. Each cell is double-lined with multiple layers of clay as a protective cover. The geomembranes are soil surveyed first to find all detectable damage and once repaired provides a base line for the ELIM system tests.
Each cell is electrically surveyed automatically using our ELIM system which downloads to a computer for visual inspection using a 3D color graph.
